Third Reich impressive shooter's chain. Awarded to the "Schützenkönig" Willy Treiber in 1933/34.
The "main" plaque at the bottom shows a gilded swastika and probably the emblem of the shooting association. Engraved "Willy Treiber - Schützenkönig - 1933 34". Made from genuine silver. "800" silver hallmarked and "P. Brandt" maker marked on the reverse. Multi-piece construction. The gilt crown above is also made from genuine silver and has the same markings as the plaque.
The chain is constructed of eleven plaques. Made from brass. Silver-plated and finely decorated with oak leaves. Ten of the plaques are gilded and show alternately an eagle as well as a marksman.
