Description

Made from aluminum. "Befh.d.E./AHA/Jn2" stamped = Befehlshaber des Ersatzheeres, Allgemeines Heeresamt, Inspektion der Infanterie.

The commanders of the unit were General der Infanterie z.V. Friedrich Roese (1935-1938) and General der Infanterie Eugen Ott (1938-1939). General Ott was awarded the Knight's Cross in December 1942.
