Description

"Fliegeroffizier" N° 66 "Allach" - SS owned porcelain manufacturer

 

porcelain, white glazed, designed by Professor Thedor Kärner

 

to the bottom: green porcelain brand "Allach" underglazed in raised octagon as well as marking "T. KÄRNER" and model number "66" (both sunken)

standing on rectangular base (8.5 cm / 9.2 cm approx.)

fully decorated with orders, aiguilette and Luftwaffe sword

total height 32.5 cm approx.

 

Unfortuntaley, the sword is broken and parts are missing or are glued:

  - fully missing: approx. 5cm of the blade; approx. 0,5cm of the front part of the cross guard.

  - glued: the tip of the sword is glued to the boot shaft, the upper part is glued to the breeches

 

1 sligth crack visible:

starting at the bottom of the base (length below 3 cm approx.) continuing to the upper side of the rectangular until the front foot of the right boot (lenght upsides 6 cm approx.)

 

2 glaze defects at the bottom of the tunic (front and back side, not noticable when the figure is standing)

 

privately purchased without traces of restauration, nothing glows under UV-light

very rare and hard to find
