Two photo albums of a Gebirgsjäger depicting the campaign in France from June 1940 to December 1940.
There are photos of award ceremonies, the troop visit of a Gebirgsjäger General (Knight's Cross winner), the daily life of the soldiers, and photos of military training. Each page comes with handwritten notes by the Gebirgsjäger. The photos, which are of an atypical format, were pasted into two booklets. One booklet has the name "Walter" on the back.
