A German M40 helmet. The type of helmet was issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polilzei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Heer.
An untouched with most of the original attached decal worn off.
Paint: Original factory paint. Around 90% still present. Rust and signs of wear and age.
Decals: The eagle decal is about 15-20%. It was worn off
Lining: Flexible leather lining. Still soft. Original cord. Most probably size 55.
Unopened prongs. The liner is original to the shell.
