An officer's pattern Ordnungspolizei shako with black lacquered top and visor. A impressive and untouched piece which was never cleaned!
Eagle: tombak.Silvered. Correct "thick" officer's pattern. Period time attached with the original screws, discs and nuts. Slightly bend by the owner to make the shako look even more impressive.
Cockade: hand-embroidered bullion officer's cockade with black velvet backing. Matching patina.
Green felt: Some moth damage. Stains.
Lining: Leather sweat-band with silk lining. A few stitches have opened.
Markings: "57 1/2" (pencil). EREL maker marked to the dome. Marked by the distributor "Otto Schober"
