VIEW DESCRIPTION

Rare double-sided etched dress bayonet KS 98 of a member of the Nachrichten-Abteilung 25.

Nickel-plated steel blade. One side shows the unit of the soldier "Nachrichten-Abteilung 25 Bad Cannstatt" and the other features the inscription "ZUR ERINNERUNG AN MEINE DIENSTZEIT". It is bordered by oak leaves decoration and two army eagles. "Carl Eickhorn Solingen" maker marked. Light stains around the maker's mark.

Black bakelite grip plates. Black re-painted steel scabbard which is free of dents.

Length: 40 cm (long type).
