Extreme rarely DLV dagger for balloon pilots ("Ballonführer"). 1st pattern.
Nickel-plated steel blade features the maker's mark of "Paul Weyersberg, Solingen". Slight pitting on both sides. Blue leather finished grip. Earl nickel-silver fittings. The pommel and crossguard bear a sun wheel swastika on each side (brass inlay).
Blue leather finished wooden scabbard with nickel-silver fittings. It has no dents. The fittings were fixed with an oval clip on the reverse. Comes with the original dagger chain. Marked "DRGM 926719" on the back of the snap clip. Fully working.
Light signs of use. The handle and the crossguard are a bit loose ("wobbles").
