Personal visor cap to Generalmajor Eduard Schütze. Schütze was born in 1890 and died on 6.1.1979 in Wiesbaden. His last command was "Höheren Nachrichtenführer vom Luftwaffen-Kommando Nordost" in April/May 1945.

Fine gold bullion piping. Hand-embroidered Luftwaffe general's cap eagle and wreath badge. Attached by hand.
Fine green-silver color silk lining. Intact celluloid diamond. "Verkaufsabteilung der Luftwaffe" marked. "EREL Sonderklasse Extra" maker marked. Very hard to read.
Sweat-band with signs of wear. Still very soft. SCHÜTZEK named.
No moth damage. Very nice condition. Size 58
The chin strap is a modern replacement (also damaged) and was added by the last owner to make the cap display complete!
