VIEW DESCRIPTION

Pewter mug to Gefreiten Richter serving with Infanterie-Regiment 42. Issued in 1937 at a shooting competition of the regiment. Engraved on the lip "1.Kp.I.R.42 - Preisschießen 1937 - Gefr. Richter". It also bears a miniature helmet on the top. The front shows the raised coat of arms of the city of Bayreuth. Maker marked to the bottom.

Slight signs of use and a small dent in the bottom.
