Two pages from the war diary and guest book of SS-Brigadeführer and Generalmajor der Waffen-SS Gustav Lombard. He served with 1. SS-Totenkopf-Reiter-Standarte and 1. SS-Kavallerieregiment. Involved in anti-partisan combat on the Eastern Front. Knight's Cross winner on 10. March 1943.
Lombard sent these two pages to an "old" comrade named "Bandau" in June 1987. Both pages are full of autographs and dedications such as from SS-Gruppenführer and Generalleutnant der Waffen-SS Hermann Fegelein, Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves, and Swords winner. Brigadeführer Lombard also signed himself. There is also an autograph of von dem Bach-Zelewsky ("Von dem Bach"). Very interesting documents for autograph collectors! Attached is also the letter to "Bandau".
Plus two autographed photos of him (reprints of original photos) and a postwar letter (dated 1989). Also signed by him.
