Bavarian cavalry sword "Ulan.Rgt.König" with portepee - WKC

Description

A Bavarian cavalry sword for a member of the Königlich Bayerisches 2. Ulanen-Regiment "König“.

The sword comes with an excellent three-sided etched blade. It features the inspection "Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit" and "2. Bayr.Ulan.Rgt.König". Decorated with a picture of an Uhlan and King Ludwig III. Also fine ornaments on all three sides. "WCK" maker marked. Slight stains on both sides.

Black celluloid handle. No chipping. Silvered handle fittings showing the Bavarian (lion) coat of arms. Black finished steel scabbard which is free of dents. Comes with a portepee.

Signs of use. The handle and blade are a little loose (wobbles). Good condition.

Length: 105 cm.
