Rare grouping to Unteroffizier Werner Meißner serving with Panzer-Grenadier-Ersatz- und Ausbildungs-Bataillon Brandenburg. Part of the legendary Divison Brandenburg. In some documents, the field post number "47 681 B" can be found. Uffz. Meißner was a real "Brandenburger". He was born there, lived there, and died there on 14.09.2007.
"Brandenburg" cuff title. Dark green ribbon with machine-embroidered letters in cotton threads. White piping on the top and bottom. Length: 44.5 cm. Rare to find!
Heer Soldbuch. Issued on 19.04.1941. Original applied photo. Awards: Wound Badge in Black and 1939 War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords. Noted on page 22. The Soldbuch is full of entries as well as all pages are present. The swastikas have been painted over (probably during his war captivity).
Heer Wehrpass. Issued on 08.07.1938. Original applied photo. His units are listed on page 12. Awards: Wound Badge in Black. Campaign list from 26.08.1939 until 30.12.1942 (Poland, Russia, and Germany "Heimatkriegsgebiet"). Comes with all pages.
Sixteen period time photos and one photo negative. Among them five portrait photos.
Including numerous period time documents and postwar documents. On the basis of these documents, his life and war service can be traced very well.
