VIEW DESCRIPTION

The bayonet comes with an excellent etched blade. It shows the inscription "Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit beim Panzer Regt. 1 Erfurt". Bordered by a helmet and eagle as well as fine ornaments. "Robert Klaas, Solingen" maker marked.

Black Bakelite grip plates. Nickel-plated handle fittings. Black re-painted (decades ago) steel scabbard which is free of dents. Comes with a matching army bayonet knot and leather frog. "D.R.P." is marked on the back. Signs of use.

Overall condition 2+.
