Description

A privately purchased officer's field tunic designed like an M36 field tunic with a dark green collar and vertical bars to all pockets. Worn by an Oberst of the OKH (Oberkommando des Heeres). It was tailored by a French tailor based in Reims. 

Breast eagle: hand-embroidered officer's pattern. Attached by hand.
Collar tabs: Karmesin-red backing. Gilt bullion embroidered for higher ranks. Attached by machine 
Shoulder boards: "Karmesinrot". Sewn-in. Oberst. Excellent. 

Lining. Fine silk
Name tag / tailor's tag: in place
Buttons: Complete. 

Clearly moth damaged. 

An original tunic in all parts. Most probably the insignia were attached postwar.
