The government of the Republic of Honduras established on March 1, 1941, the creation of the Order of Francisco Morazán as part of the tributes of the first centenary of the death of the paladin and hero general Francisco Morazán (1792-1842). The order is awarded to individuals and representatives of national and international diplomacy for their eminent services rendered for important benefits granted to humanity or for notorious merits in the field of culture. The order comes in 6 classes.

Here an official or officer cross in gilded silver and enamel. The cross is in fantastic condition and has the silver content mark "825" added to the pyramid ribbon suspender on top of the cross.
