The sabre comes with a so-called "Steckrückenklinge mit Schör" blade made from Damascus steel. "Eisenhauser" and "Damaststahl" marked. Also the inscription "Mende s/l. Kannengießer" and "Cassel 1899-1900". The pattern is only faintly visible. Slight pitting on both sides.

Brass hilt with lion's head pommel. One of the red glass eyes is missing. The knuckle guard shows the Saxon coat of arms. Leather covered handle with wire wrapping. The langet bears the monogram "AR". Original bluing on the scabbard (magnetic). It has some pitting areas and a few small dents.

Length: 96 cm.
