A German M42 helmet most probably worn by Luftwaffe field division troops. The latest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polizei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Luftwaffe.
Paint: Original factory paint finished with some khaki color camo paint.
Decals: The eagle decal is about 75%.
Lining: Flexible leather lining. Still soft. Original cord. 59 size stamped.
The prongs look to belong to the shell. The outside shows camo paint. The prongs are pretty flat.
