Description

An extremely rare Diplomatic Corps Sword to Prinz Viktor zu Wied (1877-1946). He served from 1933 until 1943 as the German ambassador to Sweden.

The sword comes with an excellent double-sided etched blade showing fine ornaments and the national eagle. "ALCOSO" maker marked. 

Silver-plated tombak fittings with an eagle's head as pommel. The screw on the top is in place and looks unopened. Mother-of-pearl handle scales that are free of chipping. Black leather-finished scabbard with nickel-plated tombak fittings. It has no dents. Includes the matching portepee. Length of the sword: 94.5 cm.

Furthermore the diplomatic passport of his wife Prinzessin Gisela zu Wied. Issued on 19. April 1922. Used condition.
