Artillery lion's head sabre for officers with etched blade + portepee - Hörster


Description

The sabre comes with an etched blade on three sides showing beautiful ornaments. "Hörster Solingen" maker marked.

Black celluloid grip with intact wire wrapping. No chipping. Brass handle fittings with lion's head pommel. It has inlaid red glass eyes. The front langet bears crossed guns. Black re-painted steel scabbard which is free of dents. 

Includes the officer's portepee.

Length: 95.5 cm.

Traces of wear.
