Description

Coat

A civil servant greatcoat for customs (Zoll) officer during the Weimarer Republik. It is made from black wool, with a bottle-green collar and red piping around the collar.

 

Shoulder boards: green base. Silver eagle. Oberzollsekretär. Sewn-in.
Buttons: Complete. Brass coloured. Plain.
Lining: Black silk. Tailor's tag "Mohr & Speyer Koln A.G."

 

The greatcoat is in great condition with no damage.

 

Cap

The cap is a civil servant cap, with a post-1934 eagle and cockade. It has red piping along the central band and at the top edge. The cap has a dry brown sweatband with some of the lining coming off. A braided green and gold chinstrap is present and secured with 2 gilded buttons.
