VIEW DESCRIPTION

A nice grouping of Oberfeldwebel Leopold Fally serving with Fallschirmjäger-Regiment 14.

Luftwaffe officer's dagger with hangers and portepee. Made by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen. Nickel-plated steel blade. An orange handle with aluminum fittings. Intact wire wrapping. The scabbard is free of dents.

Luftwaffe Air Gunner's and Flight Engineer's Badge. Tombak. "IMME" maker marked.

Wound Badge in Silver. 1st pattern (cut-out type). Tombak.

Wound Badge in Black. 1st pattern. Silver re-painted front.

1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class. Iron core.

Sudetenland Medal with the original ribbon.

3-place ribbon bar with Sudetenland Medal, Luftwaffe Long Service Award, and 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class.

Luftwaffe paratrooper ID tag "Bla 71040" stamped. Aluminium.

Swastika stickpin.

Luftwaffe mess hall fork. Stamped.

Luftwaffe flight book "Flugbuch" from 19. May until 8. September 1944. Comes with 528 confirmed flights.

Luftwaffe Soldbuch. Issued on 14. October 1944 by Fallschirmjäger-Regiment 14. His untis are listed on page 4. Awards: Wound Badge in Silver, Sudetenland Medal, 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class and Luftwaffe Air Gunner's and Flight Engineer's Badge. Two pages are missing.

Luftwaffe 122 photos. Excellent photos of his Lufwaffe service. Among them numerous aircraft photographs, shots of his service with the Austrian army (before 1938), and photos of his brother Ludwig Fally. He also served with the Luftwaffe.

Three identity cards and his death card (he died on 29. March 1998).

Luftwaffe flight book "Flugbuch" of his brother Ludwig Fally from 26. April 1940 to 29. March 1942. Comes with 287 listed flights and numerous sorties "Feindflug". Includes the death card. He was killed in action on 29. March 1942.
