  If we don’t hear from you within 24 hours, we will send an invoice choosing the payment and shipping options which we think are the most comfortable ones to you. Description

VIEW DESCRIPTION

A German M42 helmet. The latest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polizei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Heer.

Paint: Original factory paint with a band of red paint on the front which is mostly worn away. Inside appears to have been resprayed after 1945.

Decals: The eagle decal is about 60%.

Lining: Leather lining is well oiled with original cord. However there is overspay of green paint on the liner.

Chin strap: Original chinstrap is present

Markings: NS64 with lot 4655 also stamped beneath.
