Description

Army officers' sword made by Carl Eickhorn from the Field Marshall series, Pattern 1693 - Wrangel, featuring a left-facing eagle.

Friedrich Heinrich Ernst Graf von Wrangel was a Generalfeldmarschall of the Prussian Army.

The sword is in very nice overall condition with a dove head design and a highly detailed handle. A significant amount of gold gilt is still present on the handle. Grip wires are intact, though some are slightly loose, as seen in the pictures. The scabbard retains its original black paint, though some spots show visible corrosion. The nickel-plated blade is very clean and bears the Eickhorn logo stamped on the back. The saber is complete with a green leather army portepee featuring three silver stripes.
