Description

A great example of a Heer officer's sabre. The sabre comes with an excellent clean blade. "Paul Weyersberg Solingen" maker marked.

Beautiful gold-plated braas handle fittings. Black celluloid grip with intact wire wrapping. No chipping or cracks. The front langet bears the national eagle with outstretched wings. Original black-painted steel scabbard with some minor loss (around 90% present). No dents. Also included is a matching condition portepee.

An excellent sabre in very fine condition!
