Very interesting imperial hunting dagger "Hirschfänger". Around 1900. Includes a small dirk.  This item was sold to current owner through Helmut Weitze

Excellent blade with gold-plated etchings on both sides and false damascus. "H.R. Barella Hofbuschenmacher Berlin" maker marked on the top of the blade.

Round handle made of genuine horn with three losenges of brass on the front. The crossguard depicts  stag hooves. A imperial crown with the letters RW beneath is depicted on the guard. The fittings are made of brass with gold wash
