Description

An intesting early SA service dagger with three piece hanger and what appears to be a removed Röhm motto on the reverse.

Nickel-plated steel blade featuring the motto "Alles für Deutschland" on the front and the maker's mark of Eduard Wüsthof. The reverse shows some planing to the blade indicating that in could have originally included the Röhm motto.

Brown wooden handle with inlaid SA roundel and national eagle. No chipping and some green patina on th inlaid pieces. Early nickel fittings. "Nrh" (Niederrhein) stamped on the crossguard.

Original brown anodized steel scabbard with matching nickel fittings. No dents but some loss to finish and rust coming through. All screws are present but some corrosion and pitting on the scabbard fittings also showing a slightly collopsed balled on the chape.

Comes with the original 3 piece leather hanger. Fully working snap clip.
