Description

VIEW DESCRIPTION

This is an amzing example of an early war Wehrmacht bayonet 84/98 made by Friedrich Herder and dated 39 on the top pf the blade.

The original bluing on all parts is about 99% present. "F Herder A sn" maker marked and numbered "9952 e". The scabbard shows the same markings. Brown bakelite grip plates with some slight scratches. also marked 30 on the crossguard. Inspection marked twice on the pommel and one on the release button and finally also on the ball of the scabbard.

Included the matching leather frog which is in servicable condition and is marked LLG Thürningen on the reverse.
