Description

Heer M36 field tunic for an engineer Leutnant. The earliest pattern issued to the Heer was designed with a dark green color and five buttons. This example is 1937 dated. A very early M36 type with a proper M36 collar.

Breast eagle: machine-woven and original to the jacket. 
Collar tabs: Machine-applied officer type. 
Shoulder boards: sew-in boards for an engineer Leutnant. 

Lining. Cotton
Stamps: size stamps and "G.Mantzke, Berlin" maker marked. "90 08 61" depot and unit "3./Pi.20" marked
Buttons: Period time attached. Complete. 

A large size tunic in fantastic condition. No visible moth. Almost no signs of wear.
Including a Demjansk Shield originaly sewn to the tunic. Loops for other badges.
