VIEW DESCRIPTION

A German M42 helmet. The latest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polizei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Luftwaffe.

Paint: Original factory paint. Around 90% still present. Signs of wear.

Decals: The eagle decal is about 90%.

Lining: stiff leather lining. Original cord.
Unopened prongs. The liner is original to the shell.

Chin strap: Stifer leather. 1939 dated. Maker marked.

Markings: ckl 62 and number.
