Wehrmacht dress bayonet KS 98 - 7302 b 1940

Description

This Bayonet features blued metal fittings overall, with single Waffen Amt stamped pommel with working external release button, with screw in bakelite grips and metal guard & muzzle slot. The 25.5 cm long blade shows the ‘blood groove’ to each side of the blade, with no evidence of sharpening, good spear point, with blade being in generally very good condition overall with much of the original blued finish. Ricasso stamped 77302 b as well as date 40 (1940) to spine. Standard metal scabbard with most of the protective blue brown finish, with matching numbers. Minor rust besides one rust spot on scabbard.

Comes with seemingly unmarked frog in very good condition.
