Early Luftwaffe so-called "Borddolch" dagger.

Handle:
Pommel and cross guard: Nickel-silver
Grip:
Blue leather. Original wire.

Blade:
Clean steel blade. No damage to the tip
Markings: F.A.HELBIG, STEINBACH KR.M. Including a Luftwaffe acceptance mark

Scabbard:
Original leather finished scabbard. Some small damages to the leather.
Screws: in place. Never opened.
Fittings: Nickel-silver
Nickel-silver chain with 9 and 14 chain links. One chain link on the clip is missing.

A very nice dagger with a beautiful patina.
