Scabbard:
Finish: Anodized finish. Typical for early daggers. Period time black overpainted. (By order of NSKK Korpsführer Adolf Hühnlein on May 19, 1936, the scabbard of the NSKK Service Dagger now had to be black. Until that time, NSKK members wore the SA Service Dagger. Therefore, over time, numerous scabbards were repainted black.)
