VIEW DESCRIPTION

Scarce M33 SS Service Dagger, so-called "Himmler" dagger.

The dagger has a blade showing the etched motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue". On the back are the dedication "In herzlicher Kameradschaft H. Himmler" and the maker's mark of Carl Eickhorn, Solingen.

Black wooden handle with inlaid SS roundel and eagle. Early nickel fittings. "1" stamped on the bottom (workstation number). Original black anodized scabbard with nickel fittings. The ball without dents. All four screws are present.

This dagger was only made by Eickhorn. According to estimates, about 2500 pieces may have been produced.

Very nice condition! Extremely hard to find.
