VIEW DESCRIPTION

Very rare Postschutz (postal protection) leader's dagger.

Handle:
Grip from blackened wood. No chips. Inserted "Postschutz" emblem.
Fittings: Nickle. Matching patina to the pommel and cross-guard. The enameled swastika on the cross-guard partially chiped.

Scabbard:
Iron. Original black factory paint. No dents
Fittings from nickeled iron. All screws in place

Chain: Complete. Working snap clip. With 9 and 11 chain links.

Blade:
Clean. No damage to the tip.
Marking: Paul Weyersberg & Co., Solingen

Portepee:
Including the matching portepee featuring a red cloth to the bottom of the oak.

A very nice example. Hard to find again in this condition.
