Description
Rare document grouping to Oberleutnant Heinz Stevens serving in Stalingrad as Kompanie leader of 1./Pionier-Batallion 672. He was wounded in Stalingrad on 24.11.1942 and has been flew to a German military hospital in Stuttgart before the pocket was closed.
 
The certificate to the Wound Badge in silver was issued on 30.3.1943, about 5 months after he left Stalingrad.
 
Certificate to Iron Cross 1st Class issued on 20.6.1942. Facsimile signed by General der Panzertruppe Paulus, head of 6. Armee.
Certiticate to the Iron Cross 2nd Class. 8.10.1941 issued. Facsimile signed by Generalfeldmarschall von Reichenau, head of 6. Armee.
Certificate to the General Assault Badge. Issued after his unit recovered: 28.6.1943. Signed by the bataillon commander. 
Certificate to the Westwall Medal. Issued in 1940.
