Description
Interesting document grouping to Oberleutnant Carl-Lothar Reich. Reich "General Göring" troops in 1938 and was sent to Fallschirmjäger-Regiment 1 on 1.1.1939 before he was sent to a unit taken part in the Kreta Campaign. The unit is mentioned in his Wehrpaß but very hard to read.

He served as a Staffelkapitän of several glider units before he was promoted an Adjutant at the headquarter of Fallschirm-Armee-Oberkommando in May 1944. He was sent to 6.Fallschirmjäger-Division on 31.12.1944 where he was killed in action on the same day serving with Holland.

Very rare Wehrpaß full of entries and notes. Original applied photo. A long list of a units he served with. Several Fallschirmjäger as well as glider pilot related trainings.

Awarded the Glider Pilot's Badge, Sudetenland Medal, Westwall Medal, Iron Cross 2nd Class, Squadron Clasp in bronze, Luftwaffe Observer's Badge, Cuffband "Kreta", Squadron Clasp in silver.
A long list of campaigns is also written to his Wehrpaß. It mentions "Luftlandeoperation Kreta" (13 missions as a pilot). His service in the West (mainly Holland) seems to have begun on 21.3.1944.
Very good condition.

1940 dated blue Wehrmacht driving license for Reich serving with 2.Flughafenbetriebs-Kompanie z.b.V.1.

Interesting December 1944 document by Fallschirm-Armee-Oberkommmando promoting Reich to the Stab of F.J.R.6. It provides information on two more officers. Furthermore a recommendation to promote Reich to the RLM. It goes with a smiler DIN A4 size document which provides interesting details on his service time, awards and campaigns.
Another October 1944 dated document states reason for promoting him. That really is the best document as it tells you interesting stories on his previous achievements as a Staffelkapitän of a glider unit. He also served in the Kessel of Demjansk by the way. Reich had 87 missions at this time containing several air born operations.
