Certificate to the Minesweeper War Badge issued in Bergen (Norway) on 8.4.1941 to Bootsmannsmaat Hubert Kionka.

Interesting details on Kionka are available.

He crashed with a He115 at Midtfjell in Eidfjord. The aircraft hit a mountain after take-off. Furthermore Erich Schulz, Friedrich Salzer and Otto Behrens were killed during this accident.

Kionka is also listed in the U-Boot crew data base.
