Important police "Polizei-Dienstpaß" to Oberwachtmeister Wilhelm Winterhoff (born in 1940) serving with Polizei-Nachrichten-Ersatz-Kompanie Krakau and Polizei-Nachrichten-Kompanie 11 in 1944. He also served with "Kampfgruppe von Gottberg" in 1944. Kampfgruppe von Gottberg is infamous for killing thousands of people in the East. More details can be found on the internet including the code names for their campaigns.
He saw combat against partisans which is why a form for his days of anti partisan combat is inside this book. The "Bandenkampf-Abzeichen" list however is still empty. (the photographer did not take a photo of the list unfortunately.

He took part in many anti partisan campaigns of „Kampfgruppe von Gottberg“ such as „Unternehmen Frühlingsfest“, „Unternehmen Kormoran“. A list of all campaigns is on page 15. Most of the were in 1944.
