Very interesting "Polizei-Dienstpaß" to Revier-Oberwachtmeister Wilhelm Klaaßen serving with Lett.Pol.Batl.271 as well as various other interesting units in the East.
Klassen was awarded:
- the Ostvolk Bravery Cross 1st Class "in Silver"
- the General Assault Badge
- the 1939 Iron Cross 1st Class
- the Ostvolk Bravery Cross 2nd Class "in Silver"
- the 1939 Iron Cross 1st Class
- the War Merit Cross 2nd Class with swords
- the Police Long Service Award III. and IV. Class
- the Third Reich Sports Badge in bronze
The ID is full of entries. It will tell you everything on his campaigns and service details. He also served with "Ukrainisches Schützen-Batl.35 Minsk", "z.b.V. Kompanie Minsk", "Po.Komp.Ost, "Pol.Batl.65", etc.. He entered a promotion he received on 21.7.1945 and 1.3.64 on page 9. All other notes are period time.
The most interesting part is certainly the list of his campaigns on page 15 and 33.
Just to name a few:

- Unternehmen "Karl"
It says the list carries on on page 33 ("Fortsetzung Seite 33 Anhang") which means there once was an extra page added to the ID.
There are many more campaigns noted however they are hard to read but will be easy to identify for specialists.
