Oil of a HJ boy (Conrad Pfau 1936)
Description
1936 dated oil of a young DJ boy by the famous artist Kondrad Pfau (1885 - 1954). Pfau exhibited in the "Großen Deutschen Kunstausstellung" at the "Haus der Deutschen Kunst" in Munich from 1938 - 1945 on a regular basis. 23 paintings were shown. Pfau can be considered as one of the most important artists of "Third Reich" art history.
Oil on canvas. "Conrad Pfau Mnchn. 36." signed by the artist. Minor fine stress cracks to the oil.
A period time selling tag of "Kunsthaus Wolfgang Blech" which still exists today.
Size of the frame: 49cm x 60cm
Good condition. No repairs or rips.
