Small but interesting document grouping to Unteroffizier Josef Dickhaus serving with Pionier-Bataillon 234 in Finland. Dickhaus has lost his right hand in combat and was discharged in February 1944 for this reason. It includes his red "Schwerkriegsbeschädigtenausweis" with photograph.
Wehrpaß with original photograph and many entries. He was awarded the Wound Badge in silver, General Assault Badge, East Medal, Iron Cross 2nd and Iron Cross 1st Class.
Page 32 list campaigns in Norway and Finland. Page 34 states his injuries on 23.10.1943. He has lost his right hand "Abriss re.Hand" and had several shell splinters to his face, chest, arms and legs as it says.
