Medal and photo grouping to Minesweeper Leutnant Hans-Georg Feichtmayer, brother of Major Feichmayer. The grouping was consigned directly by his niece and was never in collector's hands before.
Untouched photo album containing 143 photos in total. The first page contains information on his service time "Dienstzeit" from 1941 until 1946. A great source of research. He served with MS Mürwik, R166, Minenräumschiff 12, 29.MS-Flottille Dänemark Aarhus and with GMSA postwar.
Part of the grouping are two Minesweeper War Badges. They are shown numerous times on the original photographs inside the album.
One is made from zinc. Schwerin, Berlin maker marked. Hinge and pin missing.
Another very fine tombak example with great finish. R.S.S. maker marked.
A nice 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class period time mounted on a bar. Nice condition. Including a small ribbon bar.
