Description
Lappland Shield Wehrpaß & Soldbuch grouping to Luftwaffe Unteroffizier d.R. Max Freimuth. Quite an interesting grouping including a brown (rare, usually blue) Luftwaffe Soldbuch. The Soldbuch was issued in August 1939 and was used right up to his time as a POW in 1945. It was in his pocket for 6 years and is literately full of entries.

Freimuth served with Res.Flak-Abt.111 and Gemischte Flak-Abteilung 352 in Stavanger, Norway at the end of the war. The last pages of the Soldbuch provide a list of his awards: Sudetenland Medal, "Tätigkeitsabzeichen der Flakartillerie", Luftwaffe Flak Badge, War Merit Cross 2nd Class, Lappland Shield.

The Wehrpaß is another great source for research. It proofs Freimuth served from 16.3.1936 starting with Flak-Rgt.1. There are lists of his battles. He even served in Narvik! Again, all awards are noted in the Wehrpaß.

A nice grouping with room for more research!
