Description

Grouping to Ministerialrat Otto Pless. Pless was the chief of the mechanical and purchasing section of the Reichsbahn. Around May 1945, he was internment in the Allied POW camp in Paris together with Julius Dorpmüller, the general director of the Reichsbahn and Reichsverkersminister.

Wehrpaß issued on 7. April 1941 with original photo. Both untis are listed on page 12. No awards or campaigns noted. On 22.11.1941 he was released from the Wehrmacht. Complete with all pages.

Three fine large size promotion documents. Issued at the "Führer-Hauptquartier". Each facsimile signed by Adolf Hitler and an original ink signature by Julius Dorpmüller. Two promotion documents with the machting folder. Pless served with Feldeisenbahndirektion 2 and Infanterie-Ersatz-Bataillon 414 at one time.

Certificate to 1939 War Merit Cross 2nd Class. Issued on 1. May 1942. Facsimile signed by Adolf Hitler and Meissner. Folded.

Certificate to 1939 War Merit Cross 1st Class. Issued on 8. November 1943. Facsimile signed by Hermann Göring and Bruno Loerzer.

Please note, both certifictes issued after his service time in the Heer.

Two Third Reich Reichsbahn ID-cards and ten period time documents. Including an application from him to the Russian Railways in 1931. One document from 1940 also signed by Julius Dorpmüller. Furthermore two postwar documents.
