Damascus Saxon Fuß-Art.Regt.No.19 parade sabre

Description
Excellent imperial Saxon officer's parade sabre with etched real damascus blade. Worn by a high ranking officer of Saxon Fuß-Art.Regt.No. 19. Purchased around 1890-1900.
 
High quality brass handle with lion's head. Gilt. Rayskin finished grip with signs of wear and use. Original gilt wire.
Cross guard showing a picture of the lady to one side. The other side shows the owner's initials engraved. 
 
Fine real damascus blade with etched unit name "(K.S.) Fuß-Art.Regt.No 19". Gilt lettering and ornaments to three sides. Marked by the seller: HAST & UHTHOFF DRESDEN. Furthermore EISENHAUER maker marked. Etched Saxon crest as well as the monogram of König Albert (1873–1902).
 
Scabbard without dents however much of the original black factory paint missing.
