1987 dated letter written by fighter ace Greiner Hermann Greiner, recipient of the Knight's Cross with oak leaves. Greiner served as last commander of IV./Nachtjagdgeschwader 1.
He shipped two photos with this letter explaining that he never had taken a photo wearing his oak leaf.
One photo is original! It shows the awarding ceremony. The other photo is a postwar copy.
Both photos come with an original autograph (postwar) of Greiner.
