Good condition 2.

Very rare "Rollschein" issued by I./Nacht-Jagdgeschwader 5 (see Feldpost number 41733) and twice signed by the Gruppenkommandeur Hauptmann Werner Hoffmann (Luftwaffe fighter pilot ace with 51 victories, Knight's Cross recipient).

Green ID card with original photo in uniform.
"Luftwaffebordwartschein" with original photo issued by NJG 5 in October 1944. Original signature of Geschwaderkommodore Walter Borchers.
Walter Borchers (1916 - 6.3.1945), a flying ace who was credited with 59 aerial victories, including 43 nocturnal victories, 10 as a destroyer pilot and 6 four-engined bombers at day time, claimed in roughly 300 combat missions.
1981 dedication by Inspektor der Luftwaffe Friedrich Obleser.

Certificate by "Flieger-Waffenteschnische Schule 2" for passing the "Waffenunteroffizier" training. Issued on 31.8.1943.

Roughly 217 original photos to Modl taken in Rumania, Greece, Russia, etc.. Very impressive period time shots showing quite a few interesting aircrafts as well as unit emblems. Attached to the original pages of his photo album which were cut out.

Postwar POW related documents as well as a copy of the flight book of his former Gruppenkommandeur Hauptmann Werner Hoffmann (Luftwaffe fighter pilot ace with 51 victories, Knight's Cross recipient). The flight book contains 10 pages which all lists Modl as Werner Hoffmann's air gunner. A great source of research as it tells you the exact days, time, aircrafts, etc...
There is a printed list of Hofmann's victories as well as a 1981 issued "Jägerblatt" veteran's magazine. It is mainly on the "Jagdflieger" gathering in Saarbrücken in 1981 which Modl took part.

Finally, there is a machine written story by Modl describing his last enemy mission in 1945! Very interesting to read. He had to jump out of his aircraft and was badly wounded. A 10 page document written in 1945.
