Saxony - excellent railway grouping to a official

Description

Untouched grouping to an official of the "Könglich Sächsische Staatseisenbahn" (royal Saxon railway) which existed from 1869 until 1918. The grouping is available on the market for the first time and came straight of a household clearance.

The grouping includes his Saxon official's so-called "Zweispitz" hat which comes with its original storage box and even the original packing paper. It was made by Lehmann, Desdren, which was a royal Saxon purveyor to the court.

Excellent quality hat with fine silk lining which is maker marked. Black ripped silk bordering and white-green national cockade. One brass button. Gold bullion cords. No damage. Nice condition 2+ Size "55,5" written to the bottom of the cardboard box which comes with minor damage. 

Two excellent visor caps in original cardboard storage box by Julius Müller, again a royal Saxon purveyor to the court.

Red supervisor visor cap. State of Saxony. Green piping with white-green Saxon cockade as well as a nicely gilt cap badge of the "Könglich Sächsische Staatseisenbahn. Fine silk lining. Sweat-band with minor signs of use. Size 56. Very nice condition. No moth damage.

Dark green service visor cap to go with the tunic part of this grouping. Typical green piping. White-green Saxon cockade. Fine light-blue silk lining. Sweat-band with minor signs of use. Very nice condition. No moth damage. Size 56.

Excellent service tunic with polished brass buttons which come wrapped with period time paper protection paper! Dark green collar tabs with gilt rank pips. Loops for shoulder boards. Fine silk lining. Small to Medium size. We have not close the buttons when photographing to protect the original packing paper. Excellent condition 1.

Imperial Saxon officials's sword with the blade etched to three sides. No maker's mark. Brass handle Originally gilt. Including its originally attached Saxon portpee. Leather scabbard with signs of age. Gilt metal fittings. Steel blade with rust. 
Including its original period time custome made bag (leather & cloth). Condition 2-
