Third Reich period time hewer for EM/NCO of the Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD). A Höller made piece which is "F.W.HÖLLER" maker marked to the blade. The blade shows the etched motto of the RAD "Arbeit adelt" to the obverse. The horn handle is in condition and shows two unopened aluminum screws. Signs of age to the handle and cross guard.
Factory painted black scabbard with tombak fittings. Good condition. Very nice leather hanger with working catch.
The dagger comes in a custom made wooden presentation case with a red velvet inlay. This case would have been ordered by the veteran in the early postwar years to commemorate his service time by displaying his dagger at home. Size of the case: 52cm x 25cm
